When I walk or hike canyons, hills and forested areas, it brings me a certain level of peace. I think as humans we are meant to walk dirt paths, not cement sidewalks. As we see more roadways and condominiums being built around us, I think we are losing our connection to the natural environment that sits just outside of the cities we build. I hope The Guardian helps the viewer reconnect in some way to the wonders of the natural world.
